I have to do a project (civil engineering homework) like that: a industrial metallic shed. With some walls and it’s foundation. I want to put some level of detail like base plates and it’s bolts. My question: can’t I do this only using OpenBuildings or will I need to use something like ProStructures or RAM?
Thank you.
OB to Prostructures can be done via formats like IFC and CIs\2 or SDNF. No RAM 2 way that I know of.

So, ProStructures/RAM Conncetions does not provides a extension/plugin behavior for OB, right? Could be a good idea for Bentley do this in future (like steel connections extension on Revit)
I depends on how automated you want things. You can still model base plates etc in OB, it's just a more manual process.
Unless you're looking at shop detail drawings I'd stick to OB. JMO.
