Has anyone made the geometry maps work on Update 5. It seems to be looking for different sorts of files when I go to select the geometry map rather than the cells indicated in the, albeit older, tutorials.

Is there a clear explanation of how to work with geometry maps?

OK, sorry to ask, had to eliminate that one. 
 In the key-in dialog please copy and run the following command (this works for any variable): 
 expand echo $(MS_CELL) 
 The list of paths included by this variable should be listed in the Message Center. 
 Please let us know if yours includes C:\ProgramData\Bentley\connectsharedcontent\cell. 
 
 If it does please create the folder and put the attached cell libraries into it. GeometryMaps_cell.zip 
 The geometry maps should then work. I don't understand why the folder is not there though.

Ok fixed it now. Lots of lateral thinking and experiments led me to realise that the scale was hidden by my not clicking the little black arrow in the geometry maps parts of the materials editor. I also finally found an explanation of which type of map was which. I worked out you can use the dynamic scale tool for the map if it is contolled by the constraints from a part. More tutorials for things like this please, in future. Thanks for your help both Steve and Mark.

Hi Bill, 
 The delivered geometry maps (for CONNECT Edition) are in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\connectsharedcontent\cell. 
 There are two libraries 
 GeometryMaps_Clean.cel 
 GeometryMaps_Sketchy.cel 
 The path to these is included in the MS_CELL variable so U5 should be able to see these. 
 If you wish to create customised cells I suggest: 
 
 creating a new cell library on an MS_CELLS path, say in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Organization\cell\ if using the default location, or the equivalent in a Custom Configuration 
 Import cells from either of the delivered libraries above to use either as examples to modify or as a guide the appropriate properties for new cells:
