Importing excel file into Aecosim

What information are you trying to import from the Excel?

I want to import the calculation which I have made in excel to aecosim

I don't think OpenBuildings Designer (Formerly AECOsim Building Designer) has a capability to import this data and use it for modelling purpose. You have to input the values for truss in the truss builder tool.

Generally Is it possible to import excel file into aecosim ??

What is the destination for the data that you wish to import?

We use Excel as an editor for the properties of objects in AECOsim, please see the help topic: Building Platform > DataGroup System > DataGroup Data Tools and Utilities > Schedules.

I think it's still a bit unclear exactly what it is you'd like to achieve.   For example, do you simply want the Excel spreadsheet to display on-screen in your DGN file just for visual purposes?   If so, change the active workflow from OpenBuildings to either Drawing or Modeling and then click on the Utilities tab.  From there you can use OLE > Insert Object to select various types of Office documents (including Excel) along with other common formats.

If you need something different from the spreadsheet, you will need to elaborate on those details.
