Hello all!I'm hoping there's a solution to this - otherwise my computer is very close to going out the window...
Below is an image of the stair that's been genarated with the stiar tool in AECOSim.
The highlighted lines are problematic for (what should be) obvious reasons.
1 (Left): This is a join line to the landing part (identical building part to the stair, before you ask) but currently reads as an extra "riser" in plan view - how can I remove this?
2 (Right): This is similarly the join line to the level above - I don't want this last "going" as the floor above with make up the last "step"
This has been annoying me for weeks - appreciate your help.
Hopefully there's an alternative to downloading Revit...
Thanks
Hi Max,
Can you please file a SR mentioning the same, so that we can connect it to an enhancement?
Warm Regards,
Subhamoy Kundu
What is an SR?
How does one file one of those? Is that a polite way of saying - "AEOCSim can't do the basic task that you're asking?"
How should we solve this issue in the meantime?

SR = Service Request, sorry for the unexpanded acronym.
Viewed in 3D you see the elements that are created by the stair tool. When a Plan View is created the stair is resymbolised as shown in View 5. This annotation can be controlled by the Stair Construction Settings, please refer to help topic: Architectural discipline > Stairs and Railings > Place Stair > Stair Construction Settings for more information on those.
However we do have some existing defects relating to this that we'll add to this thread shortly. You can file a Service Request mentioning the relevant defect to add weight to it's priority and be informed of progress towards resolution.
