My workstation, for instance, has dual E5-2630v3 Xeons, 64GB RAM, and a Quadro K4200 4GB yet less than a gigabyte of memory is being utilized by the Simulator process and my CPU load overall is no more than 8% (mind you, I have other things running in that 8%). Another colleague’s machine has dual E5-2667v4 Xeons, 64GB RAM, and a Quadro P5000 16GB and the simulation is still painfully slow (CPU load from Simulator is at 3%). Does anyone know of a solution where I can tell the software to use more power than what is the default? Is there something in the registry to tweak these values? I tried emailing Support@legion.com but I never received a response.
Hi Tanner,
Since LEGION is now part of Bentley it's best to file a Service Request instead: https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/w/building_analysis_and_design__wiki/41078/legion---service-request-manager
