Hi
I have some problems with my DWG-exports from Openbuildings. The elements I've drawn in my designfile and are hidden are in my drawing file shown with a dashed line. Like this:
The problem now is that when I export this to DWG all those lines from my callout are continues in autocad.
Lines I've drawn in my drawingfile using line style 1-7 are all shown as expected. What is the reason for this? What setting do I have to change?
Regards,Robert
Hi Robert,
Iif you key-in 'dwg ltscale' what is the result shown in the Message Center?
What is the line style of the affected elements in the DGN?
Marc
The scale is one.
But that's not the problem. As I explained the lines drawn directly in the drawingfile are shown correctly. Also, I have access to autocad. I opened my exported DWG-file and had a look at the line's properties. The line style displayed is the one called continues.
If I understand correctly you have a Drawing Model with a Saved View attached, correct? If so, you will need to compensate for the fact that AutoCAD/DWG format has no concept of a "Dynamic View": https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/w/building_analysis_and_design__wiki/35337/improving-results-when-saving-a-drawing-view-to-dwg
I'm already using a cached view. The problem is there anyway.
I just tried a simple test but it seemed to work OK.
