i dont know steve. After adding clearance we have a chance to rotate element. but i get to know why this ACS has rotated
What I've found is that if I rotate the symbol and then add the clearance, I do see the ACS itself rotated. In this example I have two horizontal light fixtures, the one on the left was placed in its current orientation while the one on the right was placed at an angle and then rotated into a horizontal orientation:
