Has anyone come across this error message before. I'm trying to access BuildingDatasets\DatasetExtensions\IFC2x3_psets located on our network. Is it just a case of restoring this directory?
Also our server storage guys have emailed me just the other with an error they are seeing. The 1 I've highlighted is the same directory.
HI Simon,
could you find out what type of storage technology is in use? Is it NAS/SAN storage etc. your iT guys will be able to tell you.

The message that you highlight in the second screen grab suggest that the share has some type of limit set, whether a system default or applied by your IT team. The ...\DatasetExtensions\IFC\datagroupsystem folder contains over 300 files which can generate repeated access requests that may be triggering the limits shown?
While it could be worth comparing the folder contents with an original copy to ensure the files are all present the messages point to an IT system access issue.
Is this message generated by specify operations or at application start up?

Hi Brenden
I'm told we are using NetApp FAS 8200 SAN.
Hi Marc
IT has confirmed that the limit is set to 1000 open over the network and I need to look at preventing AECOsim from opening so many files.
Can you suggest a method to achieve this? I am now getting the error from the datagroupsystem directory.
I'm also getting this error from the Datagroup Validiation
