Quantity Take off to Solid Model

Folks,

I am desperately looking for steps involves in the Quantity Take off to the solids (Triforma) after adding the instance data (I can't the quantities yet) in AECOsim

Please someone help on this? Thanks.

    Have you checked quantify tool ?, Tryout it ,it will fulfill your requirements. Another tool is datagroup schedule, which will directly give you quantities.

    I tried that one as well. It doesn't comes up.

  • Hi Balaji, Which tool you tried ?, Please give me some more details and if possible send me your DGN file please .

    BTW , you can also use REPORT tool and get quantities report, I have added a video for your reference.

    Alternatively for datagroup schedule

    Create a new datagroup definition for Surface Area and NetVolume.
    Use datatypes "Area Units" and "Volume Units" respectively for above definitions.
    Hook this definition as well to your Datagroup catalog.

    Attach instance data with the newly added schema to TF solids and check schedule, you will get desired result.  This is implemented in update 5.
