When I am creating new catalog as new definition out side the dataset workspace
,I am able to find the file when I am going to "select library source file" but If i search through local drive C
I am not able to find the file which I have created . Is there any solution which can be found for this ?
I have attached file for your reference.
Hi Pranay,I see that the images are from two different locations, image 1 is from "C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\OpenBuildingsDesigner\Config" while the second image is from "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\Building_Examples"Please confirm the location of your filesRegardsAditya
The second image is from "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\Building_Examples. I can't get this from file when i go to local disk C .The image 1 in local disk C does not show any configuration workspace in it.
Pranay,
i think you need to read some of the wikis on datasets. All assets and definitions have to be stored in predefined areas. These are usually the delivered dataset that comes with the application, the workspace dataset or the workset dataset. ( some more experienced users will create a company dataset). generally speaking, Catalog definitions are store in a folder called datagroupcatalogs.
It would help us to help you if you recorded a video showing us what you are doing.
