OBD Update 6 - Level Priorities 2d/3d

Hi there

Thanks for solving the level priorities issue in 2d in OBD U6!

When we reference a 2d file into a 3d file, the level priorities are displayed correct and in the same sequence as in the 2d file.

But when we merge the 2d file into the 3d file using "merge into master", the display switches to the creation sequence or file position...

Is there a way so that the elements look the same after merging them into 3d?

In the example below the yellow shape was drawn last but on a level with lowest priority.

  • Hello Florian,

Since, the "priority" option is not applicable in 3D model, after merging the 2D model, the 2D elements lose its priority information.

However, if we merge the same 2D model in another 2D model, the priorities of the elements are preserved.

The only workaround I can think of is to copy the elements sequentially as per their priorities.

  • HI Anik Mal,

Thanks for the info. This works for three elements, but imagine a file with thousand shapes...

So we need to avoid merging or copying from 2d to 3d if we want consistent element sequence.

    Thanks,

    Florian
