I am trying to update an open buildings cell with a prostructures cell. the open buildings cell has been located in real world. the prostructures cell (dgn.) has been located close to 0,0,0 . I have tried to replace the open buildings cell but when I do the prostructures cell inserts at 0,0,0? ant ideas?
do the design file settings need to be exactly the same ? the prostructures cell (dgn) is not getting the insertion point information from the open buildings cell?

its hard to show with a video? but its about replacing or updating a cell in open buildings.
example........
Open buildings cell 'A' (dgn) has been created at x=0, y=0, z=0
Open buildings cell 'A' has been placed in the model at say x=100000, y=100000, z=100000
Prostructures cell 'B' (dgn) has been created at x=0, y=0, z=0
In open buildings, I try to replace cell 'A' with cell 'B' in the model but instead of locating at x=100000, y=100000, z=100000, the cell 'B' replaces itself at x=0, y=0, z=0 ?
So what is happening is that for some reason the cell 'B' does not get the existing co-ordinates of cell 'A' in the replacement or update?
This may be a case that requires example files for testing. If you can attach them here that would work, or you could file a Service Request so that support can further investigate.
