Hi all,
I've started working through the Quickstart Architecture training and ran into trouble. The doors and windows are not cutting through the gyp board layer of the compound wall I've adjusted the sense distance to be larger than the wall and it still isn't cutting. If I place the window in the opposite direction it works fine. I searched the forum for a clue but didn't see an answer. Can anyone offer any advice? Sorry for such a basic question.
Hi Tony,
You're welcome. The second Update 6 release was posted on December 4th which is why we're not quite ready for Update 7 yet. But you don't need Update 7 to get this fix, though I understand if you wanted to wait a bit and once.
In regards to the installation issue, as best I can tell there was a problem downloading the VisualizationContent.msi file. Why I am not sure, since it looks like the Power Platform, CONNECTION Client and CONNECT Advisor packages were successful. That aspect can be further investigated though it may be quicker to create a deployment image from a machine where you've successfully installed OBD before: https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/w/building_analysis_and_design__wiki/35496/connect-edition-creating-a-deployment-image
This essentially downloads all of the required sub-installers so that they're stored and run locally vs. downloaded at run time.
