OBD connect edition Ribbon missing

As mentioned above, you haven't provided enough detailed information for us to help with that seems to be a very unique issue - I have never come across the ribbon bar simply not displaying at all.   So as Jan asked:

• What exactly did you try, what steps, what changes? 
  • We know you reinstalled OBD, but have you tried a Repair per the wiki that Orgho mentioned?
• The only fact we know is that you use OBD (ok, but what version) and from screen capture we can decide you use (some) version of Windows 10. And next? Card, driver...? 
  • We know you have Update 6, but what about your Windows 10 build number, NVIDIA graphics card model and its driver number?

This may be a bit tedious, but necessary when an issue seems to be tied to something unique to your environment.  Is this the first version of OpenBuildings or AECOsim that you've installed on this machine?   Do you have any other Bentley products installed?
