The gridlines are not staying restricted to the edges of the views we put on the drawings. see below image, gridline is showing all of its extents even though it looks like the second picture in the saved view.
How can we change this so the gridlines are only showing up to the border of each view on the sheet
Hi Chris,
From memory, I think that grids are treated like annotation within the context of a drawing unlike in the 3D Model. What is the drawing scale set to?
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the reply, Ref scale is set to 1:50 - Annotation scale is full size 1 = 1
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris, the grid annotation should be clipped by the view that it is referenced in. Are any of the grids in separate reference files?
Marc
Hi Marc, The grids aren't attached as separate reference, these are picked up from the library file
Keep in mind that unlike a 3D model, the grids displayed in a drawing or sheet will not auto-adjust their bubbles as you zoom in and out. That said, I'm assuming the grids look the same in the Drawing as they do in the Sheet? If so, does the Clip Volume have Clipped or Un-clipped edit handles?
