I am mystified by the reloading of reference files into my drawing sheets. I have a section in my drawing which has been created from a callout. The walls are filled in solid black, where they are cut, as set up in the part settings. It all looks as I would like in the drawing. When I reference the drawing on to a sheet it looks momentarily correct then the file reloads and it is no longer filled and looks different. What is causing the reference file to automatically reload and how can it suddenly look different?

Which version are you using?
Also, can you attach a screen capture showing the reference file settings of that attachment?

Assuming the fill is based on the Part's Section symbology and using the settings you've shown here, nothing is jumping out. I've created a similar setup with a wall and slab both using the same Part, but I am seeing the fill in both the drawing and sheet models.

Hi Steve, You are coorect about it being based on the parts section symbology. I found that if I changed the cache sync in the reference file to manual it didn't happen. I don't think it explains why they are different but it is fixed at least. Best regards, Bill
Interesting... I'm also unsure why Manual vs. Automatic would make a difference such as this, but as long as it works!
If you ever come across it again or want to further investigate you could open a Service Request with support and provide a set of test files.
