1. Click on Select tool - prompt: Element Selection > Identify element to add to set
2. Hover on Space
3. Click on Edit Spaces tool - prompt: Edit Space > Accept/Reject Shape. Property Panel displays Spaces info.
4. Click on empty space in view window to accept per above prompt . Property Panel de-populates. User confused and tries again.
This is pretty klunky and could be fixed fairly easily. The prompt should read 'Accept/Reject changes'?
PS: populating the PP could be a little quicker.

Hi Dominic,
Can you please file a service request for this so that we can attach the required enhancement?
Wish I could !
Is it normal to have duplicate Space types?
PS: We suspect that this is a result of checking out the files on a laptop without the correct dataset replicated locally. Not all floor levels / files were affected. There should be a check built into ProjectWise or some guidance for those CAD admins who set things up?
Schedules: Taken to using Schedules to mod Spaces.
One problem is that there does not seem to be a way to select a Space in a View Window and get the Schedules tool to jump to the corresponding row. The closest possible workflow is to switch to / between Show Selected Selection Set Only.
The problem is flipping back to Show Used (Active) triggers a Refresh that lasts 5-6s for 300+ Spaces. This is a serious put-off and really should not happen. I won't mention them other BIM apps that seems to be able to keep track of changes and avoid a time/fee-sapping total refresh.
PS: And when the Schedule tool refreshes it doesn't even remember what column / ascending-descending setting the user had on. An easy fix and would go along way to avoid that low-rent look and feel.
Hover / Selection of the Space Shape should also highlight the Annotation object?
Hmmm, that should work:
is that a consistent behaviour?
Marc
No, that suggests triplication of the dataset contents. Whose datasource are you connecting to (reply privately if necessary)?
