Hello,
it is possible to edit ifc files in AECOsim or Open Building Designer?
If problems occur, can you tell me which ones?
I need a detailed list of problems that might occur, like problems with cutting objects, hatching, grab and move single elements/objects (this isn't possible with a reference file, does it?), is property information lost during transmission or problems with the reference point.

We do not recommend editing IFC files in either product. Only IFC4 Model Transfer View standard is possibly aligned to the workflow you are suggesting. At the time of writing Bentley only support the IFC4 reference view standard.
