OBD Update 5 - grids on drawing model are showing up, however cut displays both parts of the building grid
Building structure is skewed, there’s two orientations, lower grid is skewed and therefore slightly different, we select the lower level floor and make a cut, However, it displays both the upper structure grid and the substructure grid in the drawing model even if it’s set to only display the substructure as the active building in the saved view
We end up with both grids and not the substructure grid on its own
Cheers
Chris
I have attached a screenshot to help explain the problem that Chris and I are having. The red line at the top is the superstructure grid and the red line further down is the substructure grid. Even though the plan callout is cut below the superstructure grid and the saved view is set to only display the substructure grid using the active building, both the superstructure and substructure grids appear in the drawing model.
Thanks,
Emma
Hi Emma,
Where the Clip Volume's upper edit handle located, and, do you have Back enabled?
Hi Steve, the image above shows where the upper handle is (below the superstructure grid). Back is switched off.
Thanks, Emma. Everything sure seems to be set up correctly so I'm not quite sure why you're seeing the upper grid in the drawing. Is there any chance you could attach the relevant DGN files? If not, this is probably something better suited for a Service Request with support.
