Using Aecosim Building Designer CE update 4.
Labelling with Arial True Type font in Model design which looks good. When I reference in to Sheet design the font shows as outline only, no fill. Other notation with ATT font in Sheet design looks good.
So when I print the drawing the model text looks different to the sheet text.
I've trawled around but no obvious answer found. "Fill" is on in both View Attributes. Surely something really simple but . . . .
Hi Graham,
If you enable Visible Edges Cached in Reference Settings and checked the Setting Process Text and Dimensions Arial will displayed only with outline.
Check your Visible Edge Settings.
Christian, I switched the Visible Edges from Cached to Dynamic and the ATT now displays as I want. But the plot to pdf takes longer and the linework is fainter (plus the paper print off takes longer). Is that why there is a choice of Cached vs Dynamic?

Sorry, I don't understand this part.
Yes it is. The other thing is you have the possibility to freeze your section "indipendend" to changes of your 3D model.
But have you tried to cache your section but set off "Process Text and Dimensions"?
Thank you, yes switched to cached

What does this mean?
If you uncheck this option for Visible Edge Settings text and dimensions won't be cached.
But there is a disadvantage with this option. If you uncheck it, text elements are shown through all the geometry. If hidden or not.

Christian is referring to the setting located here (from the References dialog):
For reference, caching is similar in concept to the old Drawing Extraction Manager tool in that it "traces" the boundaries of all visible edges and generates new 2D geometry to represent them. This is why it's faster to navigate and plot. However, since the text is also traced you lose that fill unless Process Text and Dimensions is disabled.
