Is there a way to fool the Structural Deck tool to place an array of beams instead of the corrugated decking?
This would make it behave a bit more like Prostructure's Purlin tool which also works like R*vit.
This seems to be a popular way of doing things.
Hi Dominic,
AFAIK at this moment it is not possible to use the Structural Deck to behave in this manner to place a series of purlins.
However, since in our upcoming release is supposed to integrate some of the ProStructures Structural features, it might be interesting to see if this feature has been incorporated.

FWIW, the Deck tool will be unchanged in Update 7, but development is considering ProStructures style decks in the future.
Great. It would be great if they build in the option for 'tubular' decks for tunnels and arched roofs. A staple for transport stations and airports.
