Hi
I've created a parametric cell and place it as an object. In this case, it's a plate for a column. The first time I place the cell it works to place it with the ACS plane lock off. But if a preform another command and want to place a new plate. It's locked to the ACS plane. I've attached a video of it.
Sometimes it can take more than one command in between plate placement to screw the lock up, but never more than a few.
Regards,
Robert
Hello Robert,Can you try with the ACS plane lock and ACS snap lock both turned off ?It seems to me from the video that the accudraw is snapping to the plane of the second column and getting locked there when you are moving it..Hope this helps.
Hi. No, it doesn't help.
Any chance you could repeat the steps with the Locks dialog open? On the surface it looks as though the Snap lock is re-enabled after placing the column.
Does this say you anything?
It sure looks like both ACS locks are disable, despite the behavior acting as though they're enabled. Odd. Any chance you could upload the file (or variation) here? Also, just to be sure, if you use the delivered Plate component from the Object tool, does that behave any differently?
