Hi
I have a callout created from my design file and referenced into my drawing file. When I place for instance a line and the first placement point are snapped to this reference accudraw is not visible (image 1). But if my first placement point is right beside it accudraw will show (image 2).
Although accudraw still works in case 1 (I can lock it, rotate etc.), it's frustrating to not see it displayed.
Does this have something to do with my settings or is it the program's way of behaving?
Regards,
Robert
Hi Robert,Are you using default snap? I would recommend you to try changing it to Multi-snap and then do a Save Setting. Also, by going to the AccuSnap Settings > Feel tab, you have three settings that can be adjusted, these may improve AccuSnap behaviour for you.The AccuDraw K keyin allows the number of virtual snap point between keypoints to be changed to any number.Try these and let us know if settings these right makes any difference.
Thanks & Regards!
First of all, it snaps to the reference, it's just that accudraw is hidden.
I use multisnap.
It's no problem if the second placement point snaps to the reference.
You may need to attach the file if you can. Difficult to say why the Accudraw compass isn't visible after accepting the first point.
Question - does anything change if that first point is in an entirely different area but still snapped to the reference?
Seems to work for that file right now again. I'll get back to you when it happens again!
Hi Robert,
Another thing to try when AccuSnap does not appear is hold down Crtl + Shift, this combination toggles AccuSnap on/off. There are a few fringe cases where AccuSnap does not automatically appear.

Ok, thanks. But as I said in my original post, it does work, it's just that the cross is not displayed.
