Is there a way to have for example a DataGroup Item 'Brick wall' which gives me the option to chose a width when placing, that shows the ones that are 9cm dfferent then those that are 14cm in my 3D model.
I can only think about making a second part, but that would also create the need to make 2 DataGroup Items, to be able to link them both to a different part. Which seems a bit overkill just to have this visual difference in my 3D presentation?
Any ideas?
Stefan,
In CONNECT Edition, you could also try applying display rules as described in this wiki page.

Hi, thank you for the answer. I tried this but didn't work yet, I think it's because I don't use the right way to define the part in the Condition editor.
When I have an object with:
I tried ELEMENT.Wall.Part Definition = 'lichte wand - gipsplaten".
That didn't work. Is there a need to define the FAMILY too?

Yes Family and part are needed, separated with a colon. If its a Multilayer Wall you should choose Wallleaf
Thanks, that seems to work :-)
