Add section

Upto OpenBuildings Designer Update 6(10.06.03.04), there are only selected range of structural sections that you can make in OpenBuildings Designer. You can find the template file of those structural sections in "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenBuildings CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Datasets\Dataset_XX\Data\StructuralShapesTemplate.xls". But with the upcoming update of OpenBuildings Designer Update 7, as we are integrating ProStructures with the OBD, you will be able to create any type of structural section you want.

I just try edit xml section file in dataset to add more section follow to excel structure shape file. It work done.

But I think it so long time to add more section in OBD. In next version I hope OBD or PS can show more properties and user can edit direct in model.

Yes in the next update of OBD, you would be able to make your own custom sections within the dgn file.
