CLIP ALL SIDES not displaying properly in OBD CE06

We have started the transition from CE03 to CE06 and have one workstation running CE06.

We typically set our BV clip volumes to CLIP ALL SIDES. They end up looking like this in an iso view, notice  both the horizontal and vertical portions of the walls are clipped and resymbolized-- this is the view in CE03.

However the same file opened in CE06 is clipped , but only the primary cut plane is resymbolized.  In the following view, notice that the vertical cuts are not resymbolized--inside the red loop

Is there now a setting that must be activated to resymbolize all clipped faces?

Please advise--

  • Please try setting the variable _USTN_SUPPRESS_CROPPLANESECTIONGRAPHICS to '0'. We deliver this set to '1'

To test you can set this locally, then apply to your system by adding it to Standards.cfg (or your equivalent file).

There appears to be a change in behaviour related to this variable from U3 to U6. We will look into it.

_USTN_SUPPRESS_CROPPLANESECTIONGRAPHICS is designed to eliminate unwanted cut lines in dynamic views, setting the variable to '0' will result in the behavior shown on the left, the effect of the default '1' setting is shown on the right:
