OpenBuildings Station Designer Datasets for UK and Germany?

Any plans to look at providing country-specific components/datasets for the UK or Germany, for example?

Looking at this recent announcement, it looks like Allpl*n has invested in some collaboration time with Deutsche Bahn to produce a starter pack library of components to be used with their product. This will be a huge selling point for any architects or engineers working on train stations in Germany (generally AutoCAD Architecture or ArchiCAD users, and I believe increasingly R*vit). Looking at the  'Leitfaden', they have also defined the non-graphic AD4-type 'business data' which is a big productivity booster. This is something that is a big millstone that weighs a lot of UK rail jobs down as most designers tend to just point to the standard out-of-the-box OBD dataset which is not tailored to the rail sector. Crossrail skirted the problem by adding the attribute info themselves using Asset Painter.

The specification classifications are also aligned with Deutsche Bahn's standard spec clauses where links are also provided to details in DWG / PDF format.... Nice !

Maybe Bentley Virtuosity should saddle up and enter into this recently announced NetworkRail sponsored competition. The Re-imagining Train Stations deadline is mid-September with prizes of £20k for the first stage and a potential contract sum of up to £250k. A kit-of-parts for all those neglected mid-sized stations out in the sticks would be a great public good... especially when money / fare income is down.
