Open Buildings - Google Earth (How to Capture a Google Earth Image)

So my understanding of the workflow used to capture a google earth image is as follows:

- open GE Pro
- Find the place you would like to have OB "capture"
- Go to OB and click "capture google earth image" 
- Wait a little 
- get GE image into Model space with a mesh 
- Happy Face

Currently what I'm experiencing is the follows:

- open GE Pro
- Find the place you would like to have OB "capture"
- Go to OB and click "capture google earth image" 
- Wait a little 
- message center says its initializing with earth...
- Wait some more
- Crash
- NOT HAPPY FACE!!

So i read on the community posts here and there and apparently GE being 64bit was an issue so i got the oldest version of the 32 bit i could find and im still not getting that "HAPPY FACE FEELING"

please can someone assist with explaining what magic trick needs to be done in order have this all working again? its frustrating that even when you stay up to date with Bentley applications you experience problems that have been logged in these communities since 2018!!
