Just wondering if there is a plan to have the new variables that come along with the addition of the Prostructures tools that have been added to update 7 to be pushed to Configuration Explorer?
Hello Simon,
I'm moving this post to correct forum group.

Hi Simon,
The PS variables should be there:
If you're not seeing them, try re-adding OBD U7 as a "new" application:https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/building_analysis___design/w/building_analysis_and_design__wiki/43429/how-do-i-open-a-workspace-in-configuration-explorer
Hi Steve,
Apologies, what I should have explained is that yes I can see them but it was more a case of trying to work out the top-level Parent PS_ variables. I'm having some issues with my custom configuration and the Prostructures Integration.
I was looking at some of the PS_ variables and saw that they had 0 children so thought something was not working. However, looking closer I can see that _PS_WORKSPACESTANDARDS contains 65 children.
Though I would have thought _PSWORSETSTANDARDS would contain Children as it set the location for resources at the Workset level
I think I just need some time to get my head around these changes.
I honestly haven't gone thru and worked out the parent-child relationships yet either, but at a glance it looks like most workspace level PS_ variables are based on _PS_WORKSPACESTANDARDS, including _PS_WORKSETSTANDARDS. _PS_ORGANIZATION is independent but only includes Frames and Parts (still learning about those) while most everything else is based on _PS_SYSTEMROOT so they're under Program Files instead of Program Data.
What was the issue you were having?
I want to keep the datasets on the C:\ as I had done prior to update 7.
I started a new post on this issue
