Editing Macro Files , .BMR files

Hi Ben,

Click on the pop-out icon at lower right of the Macros panel to open the Macro editor, from there you can load and edit BMR files, this may allow you to change the location.

I have tried that before and it gives me another little screen which shows me the commands of the macro but I cant work out when I can edit it.

with the image above I can only view it, take in the information. I can edit it in anyway I can see.

Having checked our documentation I'm reminded that Bentley Macro Recorder (BMR) is a very basic tool. The only BMR editing options available are changing the input options for points included in a macro. These options allow data points included in a macro to be set as Fixed, Relative or Interactive. 

Promote to VBA is the only route to edit other aspects. VBA with it's MicroStation extensions MVBA was the migration path from the earlier MicroStation Basic. BMR was introduced to address the simplest macro recording tasks.
