Hi all.
Very simple question, what is the best way to model this stair:
It is a simple straight concrete stair, but one of the edges is round since it meets the round concrete wall.
I can't get any command to make an interaction between the stair or the wall. No subtract / cut / etc...
Regards
Hi Pedro,
Sorry, we don't yet have a tool that will cut a stair like this.
It is possible to use the Drop tool with the Application Elements option to remove the stair aspects, but then you end up with a number of solids and shapes that can be manipulated but no longer resymbolise or operate as a stair object.

By the way... Can you think of any other way to resymbolise the stair after droping it? Other than manually add and remove linework from a cached drawing?
A bit laborious but you could replicate the 2d linework as constrained geometry, add to a Named Presentation and combine with a Parametic Cell for the curved flight.
Of course, a lot better if the OBD stair tool could accommodate this. Stairs like this are pretty common for shafts that accommpany rail / road tunnel jobs.
