Dear colleagues,
I need import model reality to OBD, then cut it an insert Revit model as same as these pictures.
How it works? Could you send me some manual.
Hi Dmytro,
What is the reality model format that you're using?
Also, it's unclear what you mean by "then cut it an insert Revit model". For reference, the RVT format can't be brought into our products in its native form, so it would need to published as an i-model or an IFC file.
Hello Dymtro,
Our ContextCapture products can be used to create and edit reality models (meshes). These meshes can be referenced into Openbuildings Designer then masked to allow other models, such as a referenced IFC to be inserted.
More information on ContextCapture is available here: communities.bentley.com/.../getting-started---tutorials
ContextCapture is a separate product and licence.
If you have an existing reality model in a format that we support you may be able to reference and manipulate it as needed, but please bear in mind that demonstrations of Bentley's reality modelling tools typically involve multiple products.

I am using *.3SM format which got from ContextCapture.

I need to edit a 3sm model in OBD, cut some area, then paste the Revit model into the cut place. everything is as in the pictures that I attached.

Yes, I know. As far as I know i-model plugin for Revit 2021 still not available. Am I right?

I think it is that I need. Could you me show how it working and what tools I need to use?
There are tools available that allow you to mask a specific area of the reality model. Did I understand you correctly?
