Hi,
I have got a question from our Revit users. They have been upgraded to Revit 2021 and are missing the Imodel plugin they had access to in the Revit 2020 version.
Are there any information of when the plugin for Revit 2021 are available for download
Best Regards
Ole Bro
You may find this Wiki helpful. In OpenBuildings Designer Update 8 users can use the Attach iTwin tool to reference a Revit model that has been connected to an iModel.

I'm still new to the iModel and PW365 so I might have misunderstood when reading. But I take it you need PW365 to be able to use this workflow?
Hello Johan,
You can take files from PW to itwin by InstantOn. But here in the video of Mary has used connected project which can be defined by your company admin.

Hello Alifur, maybe I was unclear. We don't have PW365, can I use this functionality?
Yes definitely. You would need to see if there is any projects for you in the Bentley Cloud Services (Connect.bentley.com) or not. I have attached an image. if you have something like the attached image, then you can use the functionality. Here you can see i have a connected project named Design Review. If you farther want to know, please do raise an SR, we can have a call & show you the workflow.
Hello,
We successfully tried the "Revit.ExportDWG.addin" copy from the Revit 2020 install to the Revit 2021 install.
But unfortunately the same copy to the Revit 2022 install does not work. We get an error message on the moment we want to export :
command failure for External Command. Revit could not complete the external command. Contact the provider for further assistance..
Will Bentley release a new Revit 2022 i_model plug-in please ?
Many thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Nico
Hello Nicolas,
The workaround would only work till Revit 2021. moving forward, to get Revit files in OBD, you need to follow the process as shown in the wiki shared by Mary Chib.
Thank you Alifur,
We did indeed try the procedure on Revit 2022 and that did not work :-/
We still would like to have teh possibility to get a local copy of the i_model generated in the cloud. i_model generation for revit 2022 files worked OK in Bentley cloud but now I want that i-model physically local on my machine, not just a link.
Thanks,
