I have modelled a couple pieces of steel in Connect Edition U8 , now our steel department is trying to view the steel members and cant see anything.
I have tried copying a steel member modelled in U6 into my steel model with U8 members and they can only see the U6 modelled steel members.
Our steel department is using Tekla.
Any solutions or things to try would be greatly appreciated.

I have few question. It will help for investigation. 1. The steel members that you have modelled in update 8, those are new ProStructures members or Legacy elements? You can see the details by going to the Building Element info of any steel members.2. How the structural team is trying to view the structural models? By referencing?

1. The new items are prostructure items.
2. They are pretty much doing the same as our referencing in a file , attaching a file and you see it.
We can see the U6 members ( non Prostructure items ) in the same file, all fine and good, just none of the Prostucture Steel items are showing.
Concrete items show up all fine.
I have noticed when i export to a 3D .dwg file, the prostructure items are a different scale ( like 100 times smaller) to the non prostructure items.
I believe I haven't changed any settings to change this.
