How do I change the units of catalogue items and components?
At the bottom of the screenshot the 'Units' dropdown is greyed out.

which dataset are you using? We deliver numerous datasets most are in metric . The only one i can think of in inches is the US dataset. When you ask how to change the units of the active dataset we need to understand the full circumstances as this is not a global change you can do by changing one setting.

I believe I am using US datasets. Where do I download British datasets?
By default when the application is installed it install the US dataset. To install the British dataset you need to select it in the options area of the installer.
