Family/Part Editor - (Non Existent Level)

I have created a custom set Part & Family's and also a DGNLIB with all the matching levels required for each family part.

But when I open the "Family/Part Editor" all the family part have  "(Non Existent Level)" behand them but the levels are present in the file from the DGNLIB

Using OpenBuildings Designer Update 8

  • OK, a bit to update:

    • Ignore the 'non-existent level'. you should still be able to select the level from the library. This alert seems to mean the level just isn't active in the file.
    • When selecting a library level, ignore the fact that colour isn't shown if using 'bylevel' settings. Testing with Bentley shows (so far) that the 'bylevel' colour still comes out when modelling.

We agree the 'non-existent level' needs better labelling.

The lack of colour when using 'bylevel' needs to be fixed.

Hope that helps anyone else coming across the issue.
