How to color code structure elements by floor using Display Rules and Display Styles?

Hi

I am newbie in OBD so may be this is a silly question:

How could I color code structure elements by floor using Display Rules and Display Styles?

Am I wrong or there is no way to associate/links elements to floors?

The only way I found to do this is using reference models by floor and file name for set criteria. Any other idea?

Thank you!

  • In OBD elements and objects are not attached relative to the floor manager/levels, rather just geometry placed at X/Y/Z so you can either split by reference and use overrides to colour each floor, or using display styles the simplest way would be to use a Thematic:Height Display style. Display Rules would be too fiddly to set-up for this purpose.
