Hi, I have only been using Open Buildings for the past few weeks (previously AECOsim V8I) and I'm getting to grips with most of the new layout. However, I have had an issue with my ACS Plane Scale reading off the scale from the annotation scale. Even when I set the annotation scale to 1:1 it still showed the ACS Plane scale as 100.000:1. Only after I ran through the process a couple of times did the ACS Plane scale change.
Should these locks be aligned with each other? Why is there a scale associated with the ACS Plane?
Thanks
Stephen
Hi Stephen,
Generally the ACS Scale should align with the active Annotation Scale, changing the Annotation Scale will change the ACS Scale. However ACS Scale can be set independently of Annotation Scale (not something I do to be honest). If the ACS Scale is changed, subsequent changes to Annotation Scale will change the ACS Scale in proportion.
If you open and dock the Drawing Scale dialog you will be able to see both scale settings which will make their state visible, even if it does not explain how they got there: Using it! - Drawing Scale Toolbox
