Sketch in OBD?

Is there a way to draw like with a pencil in OBD?

Like you can on a tablet with a pen in some apps. Or like draw in Adobe Reader.

Say i buy a Wacom Intuos pen tablet and start line or curve tool it doesn't work because I need to hit esc to end the command and start a new line. Same with PLACE POINT STREAM

I'd like it to work like draw in Adobe Reader. Pen down, move, pen up.

Use you ask  >  when on TEAMS and sharing screen!

Any ideas?

  • Hi Thomas,

You can use a Wacom pen as a mouse alternative, I tried this a few years ago. This requires some adaption to the pen buttons. I didn't find it particularly effective, but I only had a tiny Wacom device to test with, it might be better with a larger tablet. Perhaps it is time to try again with one of their current devices, mine was bought around 2008.

We don't have a freehand sketching facility (which would be good) or a freehand markup for online meetings (at least not one I've discovered yet, but that is worth checking).

Our tools are all vector based so require start point, end point and related inputs, we don't have a pixel based line.

We do have support for touch screen gestures, but that is just an alternative input and does not produce graphic output.
