How to turn off position markers on railing?

Hi,

When placing railings, my Openbuildings also places all these position markers (seen in blue en green):

I'm pretty sure there must be an easy way to turn these off, but I can't seem to find it? Anybody who can help me with this?

Thank you very much,

Jeroen

  • Hello Jeroen,

The green & blue lines are coming as we are using PS shapes and for PS we have a property of each element that is call ECS Axes. It is toggled on for you by Default. Search for Structural Settings in Search ribbon. Then it will open the Options dialog and there under Shapes you will find the ECS Axes. Untick that option and save it. Have a look at the below image.

From next time onwards, whenever you try to place a new railing you will not be seeing those lines. For existing Railings, Select them and try to do some modification like changing the Part & family from the modify element dialog and once it is modified, you will notice no more lines there. Hope this helps you.
