Place Table From Excel Spreadsheet Located on MicroSoft Teams

Hi All,

Currently, we are working inside ProjectWise. Our sheet list (Drawing Register) resides in an excel spreadsheet located in a shared project channel on MicroSoft Teams.

We have deliberately placed the spreadsheet on MS Teams for easy work sharing among the project members. Now, using the "Place Table" command, how can we place this spreadsheet located on MicroSoft Teams in a sheet model while retaining all necessary links or association?

  • Hi Arindam,

    I have spoken to my IT about it and they have instructed I raise an internal service request to have theMS Teams channel/chat linked to in-house MS SharePoint folder. At the moment, the link to the spreadsheet points to the project manager personal one-drive location rather than a shared MS SharePoint folder hence the reasons i am unable to access the file using AECOsim "Place Table".

    So let me test this suggestion from my IT and let us see how it goes. I will keep you guys posted
