Hi
I need to get back to this question and get a firm understanding of possibilities and workflows.
I have a project which is a simple 'shed' 100x100 meters over a kind of plant process. Tanks, pipes and some pumps and I have dwgs for all of it.
(It is the same files as in thread 'dwgs from Autocad Plant' )
I model my pillars, beams, walls and roof and make Building Views for plans and sections - no problem.
But then I want to referens wireframe cuts of the plant equipment into my plans for orientation.
I want to be able to modify colour and line width of all levels in the reference by Level Symbology.
Is that possible?
Hi Thomasthis might help youthis should be default settings in my view - its how microstation has always worked by default from day one
ie the ability to control and override any individual level on its ownHow to use level overrides with cached drawings referenced into sheets - OpenBuildings | AECOsim | Speedikon Wiki - OpenBuildings | AECOsim | Speedikon - Bentley Communities
set a new variable
MS_CVE_ALLOW_LEVEL_SYMBOLOGY = 1
Hi John
(thought I answered earlier, but better late than never)
Very interesting, seems to work! Thanks a lot!
How do this relate to Reference Attachment dialog DISPLAY OVERRIDES?
In my ABD it defaults to ALLOW, but I remember Barry Bentley once remarked that this was probably a mistake and default should be ALWAYS.
