Hello Thomas,
Yes, you can use your old dgnlibs in OBD.
Thanks & Regards, Arindam Roy
Very good, thanks!

Hi Thomas, I'm interested to know what types of content are in your ABD DGNLIBs?
Marc
Well - first answer is - I don't know :) as opening a dgnlib doesn't show what is in it.
But Text- and Dimstyles, Levels are my first thoughts. Nothing elaborate I think.
Parts, seeds for BuildingsViews are in other files.
I saw a post recently that suggested that Explorer might show what is in there. Haven't tried yet.
Hi Thomas,
Try this:
Open your DGNLIB read only (to avoid any other library content being copied in from the dataset)
Open Explorer:
In the File panel expand any relevant items in the list to see DGNLIB content:
The Resources panel lists all resources from DGNLIBs included by the configuration, right-click and click Details to see more information about ant group or individual item:
Open dgnlibs read only is probably a good practise.
And beeing in that file the Explorer shows what is in the file. That is correct. But not the settings for a dimstyle.
That is looking from the 'inside'. I am talking about seeing it from the 'outside'.
My problem is when say I am annotating a drawing and suddenly see a dimension that comes in on wrong level. I can go to Dimenstyles dialog and see if it matches the library or not.
But not which library (if I am undertanding this correctly).
If the dialog popup showed config vars and name and path the to the dgnlib it would solve the problem. Or best - option to open that dgnlib!
I have solved this by having only one dgnlib for everything. That works for me. But is not the idea with configuring ustn.
We have an idea that is flagged as for future consideration in the MicroStation Ideas forum: MicroStation Ideas
Please put 'DGNLIB Audit Tool' into the search and add your vote.
I will file an enhancement and link it to an SR
