I can see name of active file in top bar. But how do I see path and active Model?
There is an option to show full path in title bar available via a configuration variable.
Also a macro I write that puts additional information into the title bar: communities.bentley.com/.../adding-information-to-the-microstation-title-bar
The cv was simple - have to look at the macro later.
In ABD it is one of the many features of InfoSnap...
Strange how Bentley can release a product without this.

The active model name should be shown in the title bar of each view. Note that it is possible to specify which model is displayed in each view, so displaying it in the title bar can be misleading.
Infosnap is no longer developed, the platform (MicroStation) development team could be encouraged to look at the gaps it filled. I guess Chris used similar (probably better! I'm not a coder!) techniques than me to add the title bar information.
I don't have Infosnap available, feel free to highlight it's features that we have not picked up on.
You can find InfoSnap at ustation.se (and help file which is very dry and far from showing the beauty of the tools)
When it was released, 1997 I believe, it was the exchange back and forth a trail of references that was pure magic.
Currently I use it for a few small things
- 'shrinking' dialogs and 'elevate' views - saves me hundreds of clicks each day.
- Enhancing pop up element info balloon.
- Top bar with path/file/Model.
- Measure tool
But the real power is in AutoMenu.

I expect it to show 'active' view.
You are talking about View Attributes>View Setup - right?
Fantastic feature - but I have been put off by the time it takes to 'load' that view and then back when I have tried to set it up so I have the 3d-model in one view and the BV/s in another/other view/s.
