Hello,
I've been looking for a easy way to "stretch" pipe routing to a new path:
I first tried the general "Stretch" functionality but that doesn't seem to affect pipes.
Then I found the "Move" and "Stretch" in the Plumbing => Manipulate section of the ribbon. But neither does what I need. Stretch only makes a single pipe longer/shorter. And Move moves the entire system, not only the pipe segment that must be moved.
"Manipulate Path" sounded promising but it cannot be used for this type of element? But then what's it for?
Can someone help me out with the correct methodology please? I certainly hope I don't have to delete and re-draw the pipes! :)
Yed indeed, I designed the pipe first, with fittings and so on. Now the routing needs to change because of some conflicts and I want to divert the original pipes to the new routing, which I have drawn with a line. I don't mind stretching/moving each pipe segment separately but I'd rather not have to redo all pipe fittings.
Hello Johan,
The Manipulate path will be used for Flexible pipes. So if i understand the question correctly, you did a pipe routing with fittings and now you want to divert it to some other path based on single line?
