Hi all,
I'm doing the trackwork by using the Open Building Designer.
Does anyone know how to array the element (or cell) with certain degree of rotation vertically?
I array the sleeper along the alignment line, however from the straight to curve area, every sleeper is start to rotate slowly from 0° to 3.998° vertically (please refer the dia.1 and dia.2)
Diagram 1 - 0° (Straight)
Diagram 2 - 3.998° (Curve)
This is the result what I want. (Below exp I manually do it for reference only) May I know how to do it?
Thank you~
This Forum Post and this Wiki may be of help, although you could post in the OpenRail Forum if needing further information with the OpenRail product.
Hi, Marc
Thanks for your reply.
We have the OpenRail product. Btw, I'm very very new to this software.
Is it possible for you to show me how to do this sleeper in OpenRail? THANK YOU SO MUCHHH ~
Hi,
We have tools in our OpenRail product designed to carry out track design that will calculate track Cant (Rail Superelevation) based on an alignment and velocity and place diagrammatic sleepers.
Do you have access to these tools in your team? They will enable you to produce trackwork design and information with the support of purpose built tools rather than using general CAD tools.
Regards
Marc
