When I try to install the OpenBuildingsDesigner_x64.10.09.00.083, I get the following message (attached image).
How could I solve it?
Thanks in advance.

RE: OpenBuildings installation error

Hi Jean,

You could also try searching "C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\" for copies of "vcredist_x64.exe" or "VC_redist.x64.exe". There could be an out of date version left behind there that is conflicting with the current download. Delete existing copies and new ones should be downloaded.

Installing from a deployment image is always a good way to ensure everything needed is present and saves time when doing multiple installs.

RE: OpenBuildings installation error

Hello Jean,

This error is showing up because probably same part of Microsoft is present in the system which sometimes causes issue. So, please try to create a deployment image of OpenBuildings Designer and then do the installation it will over ride that Microsoft item. Here's a wiki link from our community on how to create a deployment image of OBD for further reference.
