When creating/modifying Parts and Family symbology, colours are only available from the colour table. How do I enable colour books or RGB input?

Sorry colour books are not supported by that UI; you can reference Defect 21592: "Request to be able to use Color Book colors in the Dataset Explorer for Part symbology" if you file a service request.

As a work around could you create a new colour table and assign the colours you want using the RGB numbers?
For instance RAL 7037 is RGB 122,123,121

Thanks for the replies gents .marc, I will file a request, but probably wont get traction. to be honest it is not a massive issue. And i n15 years or so of use it is the first time i have attempted to do so. Reason for doing so is client request for space fills to be specific colours. Would there be another way to do this potentially Marc.
Ian, your suggestion does indeed work, thank you, just means I now have a non-standard colour table in this project. .
