Hi,
I was wondering if anybody has had the same problem, and hopefully a solution.
I am trying to print to jpg from a 3d model, and have attached a raster image. If I print in smooth display style without shadows everything is fine. However, when I switch to smooth display style with shadows it won't print the raster image anymore. (although it still shows up in the view.) Since it prints correctly without shadows, I don't think this is a level setting problem (I checked too) or a printer settings problem. Anybody any suggestion of things to try? See images below for images.smooth display style with shadows in viewsmooth no shadows print jpgsmooth with shadows print jpg

Hi Jeroen,
Can you please provide us with the image file that you are attaching as a raster in your model?
Also, can you please let us know which version of OpenBuildings Designer you are using?

Hi Sayan,
Is there a way to attach it on this site? I only see ways to insert images. You can download ik here: srgroup-my.sharepoint.com/.../Es__XOetTO1HqCp6auN2Q58BBGjrlakE55NHMJCnXCO1EgI am using Version 10.09.01.38

I have tested the same at my end and below are my findings.
1. When printing to jpeg format with display styles set to without shadows it is working fine. 2. On the other hand, when printing to jpeg format with display styles set to with shadows the image is not coming after printing.
It seems like a bug. Thanks for bringing this up.
Can you please file a service request regarding this and we will do the needful?
Print to pdf? Or 3d-pdf?
regards /Thomas Voghera
Hi Thomas,
The issue is mainly regarding when we do the print to JPEG format.
Thanks for the suggestion. PDF and PNG give the same problem. 3d-pdf is not realy an option as some of the recipients lack the technical knowledge to know how to set the right permissions. Moreover, We would have to make mayor adjustments to the model because we don't want to show everything.
With kind regards,Jeroen
I see.
@Sayan - the bug then exists for printing to pdf as well.
