UK Building Template

Question

Hi, 
 I am new to open buildings designer, how can I change the Building template to a UK version?

 First question - did you downloaded the UK dataset when you installed the software 
 If you did then the BuildingTemplate _UK will be visible in the list of WorkSets when you load the software and access a recently opens file. The default installation is the US dataset 
 If it is there click on it to active that as the WorkSet 
 If it is not listed then you will have to install it which basically mean 
 Go to install OBD but go to Modify and select the DataSets you want to install 
 Click on done and the additional datasets will install, 
 Reboot computer and the Building Template_UK should now be available, click on it and that will be the dataset you are using 
 Hope that helps

 In case of creating a new workset for your project, you can always copy the UK building template and work on it, as below:

This will copy the UK template properties to your project workset.

 From that page click next and you will get a list of DataSets choose however many you want and then next
